Michigan Initiatives For Action is an LLC, nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting transparency and accountability in state government. We believe that citizens have the right to know what their elected officials are doing and to hold them accountable for their actions. We work to empower Michigan residents to make their voices heard by providing tools and resources to support citizens’ initiatives.

Our mission is to promote citizen participation by making it easier for Michigan residents to propose and pass laws that reflect their values and interests. Through the citizens’ initiative process, we give Michigan residents the power to bypass elected officials who may be unwilling or unable to address their concerns, and to put important issues directly on the ballot for a statewide vote.

We believe that the citizens’ initiative process is a vital component of our process, providing a way for citizens to express their views on issues that are important to them, and to hold their elected officials accountable. Our organization provides resources and support to help citizens initiate, draft, and pass laws that serve the best interests of Michigan residents.
